TATJANA UREK

Tatjana got her first dog,an English Cocker Spaniel, at the age of 14. During her study at the Law University she was active in the work of the local kennel club in  Trbovlje,Slovenia. For the regional Club in Trbovlje she organised the first national CAC show in 1993,and was the Show manager till 2015. She was also the Show manager for other Slovenian International shows.

Tatjana bought her first Shih Tzu in 1989.This bitch was the foundation of her Potala Dalaj Lama kennel. She was a successfulbreeder of Shih Tzu,several champions coming from her kennel. After Shih Tzu she was also involved with Lowchens and since 2001 has been a breeder of French Bulldogs. Several national and international champions came from the kennel.

Tatjana became an international judge in 2000 and at the moment she is allowed to judge FCI groups 2, 3, 4, 5,7, 8,9,1O and Junior Handling as well. She was the President of the Breeding Committee for Toy breeds for a long time and was a member of the FCI Show and FCI Judges Committees and a Board member of the Slovenian Kennel Club.

Tatjana has judged at the International and National shows (including FCI World Dog Shows and FCI European Dog Shows), as well as at the Champion of Champion shows and many breed specialties and title shows on all continents and in almost all European countries.
