MIROSLAV BEDEKOVIĆ

Miroslav has been breeding dobermann since 1988, and under the kennel prefix „Best of Island“ since 1992. Throughout years he has profiled himself as one of the most successful dobermann breeders in Croatia and south-eastern part of Europe. He is the president of Dobermann Club Zagreb – Croatia, and in 2022 led the organization committee of IDC World Championship for Dobermann held in Croatia, where he had also been a member of judges panel. That was the first time Croatia had a judge at such a prestigious event, and on yearly breed congress also held during the show, Miroslav was elected as a new vice-president of IDC, wordwide dobermann breed club, which is a great recognition for his work, but also for Croatian cynology scene.

Dogs from Miroslav's breeding have very successfully competed in numerous European countries, as well as North America, South Africa and India, winning many titles of national and international show champions, and also show and working champions. Few of his greatest show achievements were winning IDC World Champion titles in 2009 and 2016 in Italy and 2019 in Hungary, all with his own home-bred dogs.

He has been a breed specialist judge since 2001 and until this day judged on many specialty and all breed show sin Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Romania, Italy, Austria, Germany and Denmark.

As a premier and successful breeder he recieived a special award for advances and improvements of cynology from the Croatian Kennel Club, and was also appointed a member of Croatian Kennel Club's Executive Board in 2018.
 

Miroslav is still actively showing and breeding, and judging at this World Dog Show will be a great pleasure and (along the one on IDC World Championship) one of the most important and greatest moments in his career until now.
