About me:
All my life dogs have been a constant presence.
As a child we had Spanish Mastiffs, German Shepherds and German Shorthaired Pointers on the family farm.
At 20 years old I bought my first Golden Retriever and a year later my first Labrador. Since 1990 I have mainly bred Golden and Labrador Retrievers together with my wife under the affix DE LA ENNA.
We have also had, on a smaller scale, other breeds such as Spanish Water Dog, Giant Poodle, Brussels Griffon or Miniature Wirehaired Dachshund.
We have always bred very few litters, but we have still bred or owned champions from over 10 countries, including International Champions and World Winners.
I started judging in 2000, doing so internationally since 2006. I have judged in more than 40 countries on all 5 Continents, including 5 WDS and 2 EDS.
I have been Secretary and President of the Spanish Retrievers Club and member of the Committee of the Canine Societies of Alicante and Murcia. I am a founding member of the World Dog Press Association, of which I have been Vice President and I´m President since 2017.
In 2021 I was elected President of the RSCE (Spanish Kennel Club) and since 2022 I´m member of the General Committee of the FCI."
