JUSSI LIIMATAINEN

A Finnish judge from Helsinki, judging all breeds. Have judged at several World and European Winner shows as well as several National Winner shows, and main breed Specialties. BIS appointments in four different Continents.

Started my dog life with Samoyeds and Siberian Huskies owned by my family. My first own dog was a Cocker Spaniel, then Welsh Springers and American Cockers came to my life. I lived in a city and was not able to have several dogs at home, so I started to show other peoples dogs from all FCI groups. 

Have owned or bred English Cocker, Welsh Springer, American Cocker, Siberian Husky, Pomeranian, Bichon Frise, Löwchen, Papillon, Chinese Crested and Maltese. Mostly known from Pomeranians and have owned or co-bred well over 100 Champions in the breed, that includes 10 different World or European Winners. 

Last 10 years have been a President of one of the biggest breed Club: Finnish Toy Dog Club. Club includes large variety of Toy breeds including Pomeranian, Kleinspitz, Yorkshire Terrier, Affenpinscher and Schipperke.  

I´m a Member of Finnish Kennel Club Board, and Member of Kennel Club Council for 10 years now. Member of the Dog show and show judges committee and Helsinki Winner show committee.
