Prof. Ph.D. IVICA BOŠKOVIĆ was born in 1969. He completed his post-graduate master's degree in hunting and general canine and his doctoral degree in hunting in Osijek. Since 2001, he has been employed at the Faculty of Agrobiotechnical Sciences in Osijek at the Department of Hunting and Fisheries. He has been dealing with canine for 40 years, he is the owner of the international hunting dog kennel "Semeljačka" and an international canine judge for the performance and shape of hunting dog breeds, a licensed game trophy evaluator, and a lecturer and examiner for hunting tests for all test areas. He is engaged in the breeding of hunting dog breeds, with a special emphasis on Istrian sharp-haired hounds as the most endangered Croatian breed. He is the co-author of over 100 scientific papers, on the university textbook "Hunting Kinology", and is the author of over five hundred articles in expert canine and hunting magazines. He is the head of the academy for training personnel in hunting at the "Ferdinand" academy from Samobor for the Slavonija branch.
